The Isuzu Bellett R6:

Isuzu entered the Bellett R6 in the Japanese Grand Prix in 1969.

The Isuzu Bellett R6 had a striking design with aerodynamic features reminiscent of sports prototype race cars of the era.

The race car was equipped with an upgraded version of the Bellett R6's original 1.6-liter engine.

It was developed for racing purposes, showcasing Isuzu's interest in motorsports during that period.

While Isuzu's involvement in racing during the late 1960s might not have been as extensive as some other manufacturers, the

Isuzu Bellett R6 holds historical significance as one of Isuzu's early ventures into competitive motorsports.

This car peaked my curiosity after reading a thread on SlotForum originally posted by ‘chappyman66’.

‘Gauderio’, a CAD designer available on 3dexport.com, had previously made a body of the Isuzu Bellett R6 available.

Although the model is currently in a shell state, converting it into a 1/32 scale slot car isn't a straightforward process. Some work is needed to

increase the underside volume to scale down to 1/32 without compromising the thickness of the walls. Additionally, the windshield and windows

are not included in the package, and there are symmetry issues that require attention. The mesh is slightly broken at the front of the car, but not

to worry – some time will be spent fixing it!
