Standalone Lap Counter

A simple and yet effective standalone lap counter is in the works

Powered by an Atmega 328p,

this little gadget is able to count:

Laps, fastest lap time, and keep track of lane positions

Turn rotary encoder and press down to setup number of laps:

After countdown, lights are GO!:

Room for expansion:

  1. Relay expansion for each lane

  2. RGB LED strip

  3. Buzzer speaker

A small production line:

Two iterations:

  1. No relay circuit

2. Relay circuit

These small blocks are working incredibly well. And currently going through a few more iterations.
